Recent News:
Chuck's latest screenplay "Hex" is a finalist for Best Action/Adventure script,
Best Original Concept and Best Overall Script at the 2016 Oaxaca Film Festival.

Chuck's short film script "Room for Error" made the 2nd round of the 2016 Austin Film
Festival.  "Room" is based on Chuck's one act play of the same name.

79' Parts won the Audience Choice Award at the Soho International Film Festival.


Chuck has written nine full-length dramas, and an excess of shorter works
(since the birth of his first child ten years ago, shorter works have become the staple).  
NYC productions include “Scenes from a Wake” at Theatre on Two, “Last Resort” and
“Room for Error” at the Creative Acting Company and “The Trials of MS. Katherine” at the
Harold Clurman Theatre on Theatre Row.  Other works have also been produced in Miami and NJ.

His English translation of Fabio Rubiano’s “Mosca” was part of a 2003 thesis presentation at Columbia University.  
Chuck’s plays have been finalists in several national competitions.  Chuck has studied playwriting at workshops with
Brooke Berman, Sarah Ruhl, Liz Duffy Adams, Dominic Taylor, Lisa D’Amour, and Karen Hartman.  
Chuck studied poetry and fiction with Maxine Kumin, John Engels, John Balaban, Peter Schneeman
and holds a Master’s degree from Pennsylvania State University.  

As an actor, Chuck has worked Off-Broadway/Regionally with Edward Albee, Emily Mann,
Andre Ernotte, Daniel Fish and others.
